History

tkcbe buildingEstablished in 1948, the Tulare & Kings Counties Builders Exchange (TKCBE) has grown from humble beginnings to be a viable force in the construction industry and in the surrounding communities our members help build. Today, TKCBE has over 500 members who represent every facet of construction-related services. We serve our members by providing them with referrals from individuals and businesses seeking quality construction-related services. Our extensive range of services enable members to not only keep pace with the competition, but to also develop professional relationships that improve their capabilities and long-term success.

Our Mission

The TKCBE is committed to promoting laws and regulations that benefit the construction trade, as well as fostering and maintaining high standards of quality and ethics for the industry. We are dedicated to increasing the public awareness of the value provided by the construction industry, and seek to maintain communications with our members for the purpose of continually providing up-to-date information and programs that will serve to enhance their performance.

TKCBE

The Tulare & Kings Counties Builders Exchange (TKCBE) has long been the guiding force for the construction industry in the Central Valley. Since 1948, the TKCBE logo has symbolized the high professional standards set forth by our members.

Many of our members are second and third generation Tulare and Kings Counties families who have a special pride in their community and have worked hard to help build public works, residential neighborhoods and commercial zones.

In keeping with our commitment to the communities at large, TKCBE members devote considerable time and energy to ensure that the public is aware of the benefits of dealing with companies that belong to our organization. To further facilitate our good practices policy, we offer referrals to contractors, subcontractors and materials providers for individuals or companies in need these services.

The importance and expense of construction projects requires that you diligently seek out a trust-worthy company that has a proven track record and a portfolio of quality work. When you’re seeking the construction-related services of a qualified company, look for a company that has the TKCBE logo––for that is the symbol of excellence.
